Target Enterprise Illustration
Since the start of my career, I’ve allowed my interests and passions to guide my professional capabilities. Nowhere has that been more evident than in the illustration work I’ve done for Target over the years. What started as a few spot pieces to supplement creative messaging on Target.com evolved into a full-time practice for the enterprise with an established system of 100’s of unique illustrations that exist at the core of the digital ecosystem’s DNA.
The full library spans numerous categories, including Target team member and guest representations, fulfillment depictions, loyalty education, user devices, containers, products, stores, transportation, environment, and more. These elements have been utilized across dozens of brand & UX expressions to help illustrate complex ideas through visual storytelling. They are used in moments of surprise and delight, way-finding, and education.
All of this work has led to a massive increase in efficiency for product designers, allowing them to build what they need quickly without sacrificing consistency and brand integrity.
